Changing the way we do things at Sundala Health: COVID-19
In light of the current global health condition, I have come to realise that I need to do things quite differently here at Sundala.
In order for me to continue to provide personalised professional health services, I need to prioritise my health, and the health of my family (that includes you). To do this I have changed my Naturopathic consultation services to phone and video appointments only, ordering from our dispensary or store to online, phone or email only and orders will be predominantly shipped via Australia Post. Local collection of orders are to be limited to selected times only.
Please be patient while I navigate my business through uncharted waters. Updates and solutions for ‘glitches’ in these new systems will be addressed as they present. Please contact me via phone, text message or email for any questions or queries.
For the time being I have ceased face-to-face consultation services and have moved to video and phone consultations. Those with pre-booked appointments will be contacted a few days prior to your scheduled appointment time so that we can discuss the most suitable consultation service for your needs.
Naturopathic appointments via Zoom conferencing require that you have ready access to a computer with a suitable webcam, microphone and speakers – most modern laptop computers already have these as part of their setup. You will be emailed a link and password to login to the Zoom consultation. Prescribed herbs, remedies and consultation fees will be invoiced via email and items will be shipped once payment is received. This is a new service that I am providing, so please be patient while I learn to take my consultation services online.
Naturopathic appointments via phone are available for existing clients only, who have attended at least one, 90 minute, face-to-face appointment in our clinic. Prescribed herbs, remedies and consultation fees will be invoiced via email and items will be shipped once payment is received.
Face-to-face Naturopathic appointments will be resumed at a later date. Please contact me via phone, text message or email if you have any queries regarding our naturopathic consultation services.
Bookings for phone or Zoom Naturopathic consultations can done:
- Through our website (sundalahealth.com.au) – click on the link “Book an Appointment”, follow the steps to selecting the most suitable consultation for your needs.
- Via mobile phone or text message
- Via email, with subject heading “appointment booking”
I have chosen to close our bricks-and-mortar retail store for the time being, this will be re-opened at a later date, most likely in our new location in Star Court Arcade.

If you already know what you want, our online store (sundalahealth.com.au) is the quickest and easiest way to purchase your dispensary items or retail products. For those re-ordering herbal tinctures, homeopathic remedies or flower essences, simply type into the search bar (top right hand corner of the screen on our website) “my remedy” à select the size you need and write any notes about your order when you reach the checkout in the “please leave special instructions below” comments box.
Phone orders are welcome. If your phone call is not answered immediately, please leave a short message (either voice or text message) to let me know that you would like to order or request some products. Please remember to leave your name and contact details with your message, I will reply via phone at my earliest convenience.

Shipping of products
Many of you are aware that we have been using Australia Post for shipping online orders since we began our business 6 ½ years ago. We find Australia Post to be the most reliable for delivery and they also provide a detailed tracking service for orders.
With all orders (phone, email or online) Australia Post is our preferred method for getting your products directly to your door. We use Australia Post Regular or Express shipping and pack and send orders between 2-3pm daily. Please let us know in advance if you would like your items send via express post.
Local collection at our clinic in Lismore is no longer available.
How the future looks for Sundala Health
For many of us, we have realised that things will never be the same again, and I think it is time to learn, grow and face some of the challenges that we have been avoiding (for me, this is video conferencing).
They say that things will get worse, before they get better, but I think if we accept these challenges, adapt to an ever-changing society and support one another, we will find better ways of doing things.
I see this as an opportunity to grow and learn.
At the start of this year, I made the decision to reduce my retail product range and focus my time and energy on providing health services as a Naturopath and expanding my own signature product range. Soon after this, I found a new location for my business in Star Court Arcade. This space is smaller and easier for me to manage, and in Star Court Arcade, I am part of a community of artisans and small business owners.
The recent COVID-19 pandemic has meant that even more changes are required for me to continue both as a small business owner and as a health practitioner. I’ve got my skates on!
So, I will still be here (or in Star Court Arcade), I am learning more about video conferencing and new ways to provide professional health services, albeit at a distance. I predict that at the end of all of this chaos, we will be better, stronger and healthier.
