Antipodes Reincarnation Pure Facial Exfoliator Review
Posted on 19 February 2014 by Marie Hunter
Since I have always had fairly temperamental skin, I am usually quite apprehensive about trying new products, especially face scrubs and facial exfoliants, however I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the Antipodes Reincarnation Pure Facial Exfoliator more than a year ago. A year ago? Yes, I have been using this face scrub for more than a year and I still find it great for my skin; I now use it just once per week and find it gives my skin a nice little mid-week pep-up.
Not all exfoliators are created equal, and the Antipodes Reincarnation Exfoliator is in a class all of its own. Antipodes is best known for their high quality natural skin care products backed with scientific studies to show the efficacy of their products. Scientific testing aside, the first thing I notice about this exfoliant is the woody citrus scent of cedarwood and sweet orange essential oils, a refreshing change from many overly floral sweet products. The quality that sets this face scrub apart from others I find is the combination of kaolin clay for drawing, jojoba beads for exfoliation and the apricot, avocado and calendula oils for repairing and nourishing your skin. The tiny beads of jojoba create a gentle, yet powerful rejuvenation and I find that I only need a little more than a large pea-sized dollop gently massaged into my sensitive skin.
Once rinsed off, you can instantly feel the freshness and cleanness of your skin; I find that my skin is quite primed for a moisturiser after using this facial scrub so I always follow with a good natural skin serum, face oil or cream moisturiser. I would suggest that those with more oily skin would benefit from using the Antipodes Reincarnation Exfoliator more than once per week, those with mature or dry skin will love the youthfulness that this scrub gives, without any drying or scratching.
Antipodes is a New Zealand range of natural skin care products containing certified organic ingredients, they are dedicated to sourcing sustainable ingredients, they use only natural preservatives and their product range is vegetarian approved.
